Deux candidats à la présidence, François Latortue du MODELH, et René Théodore du PUCH, analysent la question de la justice après la chute de Duvalier. Ils parlent du rôle de l’armée et de la possibilité pour les victimes du régime d’obtenir des réparations. Ils parlent aussi de la disparition du moniteur de Mission Alpha, Charlot Jacquelin, de droit foncier, de la protection des ouvriers, de la formation des juristes. La première partie de l’émission comprend un extrait de Louis E. Roy expliquant l’article 195 de la constitution de 1987, qui concerne le droit du président de procéder à des réformes administratives.
Two presidential candidates, François Latortue of MODELH and René Théodore of PUCH, discuss the question of justice in the wake of the fall of Duvalier, including the role of the Haitian army, the possibility of reparations for victims of the regime, and the relationship between social justice and legal justice. They also discuss the disappearance of Mission Alpha monitor Charlot Jacquelin, land rights, workers' protections, training of jurists, and other subjects. The first part of the program also features a clip of Louis E. Roy discussing Article 295 of the Constitution of 1987, which concerns the president's ability to make administrative reforms.
