L’agronome Pierre Guy Lafontant, directeur des ressources naturelles au ministère de l’Agriculture, l’agronome Dalbert Claude, directeur du service des parcs nationaux, parlent de la dégradation des terres, à l’occasion de la Journée mondiale de la Terre. Est-ce qu’Haïti est réellement une catastrophe écologique ? Ils discutent du déboisement qui avait déjà commencé à l’époque coloniale, des énergies alternatives comme le vent, des ressources en eau, et des lacs collinaires.
Agronomist Pierre Guy Lafontant, director of natural resources at the Ministry of Agriculture, agronomist Dalbert Claude who is the director of the National Parks Service, discuss the problem of land degradation on the occasion of Earth Day. Is Haiti in fact an ecological disaster? They discuss the problem of deforestation, which began during colonial times, and possible alternative energy sources, such as wind energy. They also discuss water resources and catchment lakes.
