Announcement of forthcoming newspaper. "We propose to establish in this city a daily and weekly paper, to be called the 'New Orleans Republican,' the first edition to be published on the 30th of March, 1867. It will be devoted to the political, commercial and industrial interests of Louisiana; in furtherance of which it will support the principles of the Republican party, and the policy of Reconstruction adopted by Congress."
