  • Max Chauvet, the director of Le Nouvelliste, appears on Radio Haiti on the occasion of the newspaper's the 100th anniversary. Chauvet discusses the history of the paper, the leadership of Lucien Montas, and the trap of sensationalism. He addresses Le Nouvelliste's need to cover events beyond Port-au-Prince, and questions about the paper's objectivity, given that its clientele is largely made up of the elite.
