Two bills of sale on one sheet of paper for an enslaved woman and girls purchased by George Legg in Baltimore, Maryland, October 11th, 1805. The first bill of sale is for "a negro girl slave...named Delilah aged fourteen years" for $213 and the second is for "one negro woman named Elizabeth aged twenty years also her child named Harriet aged six months" for $280. The seller's signature is illegible, but is possibly Caleb Rice. Both bills are witnessed by Joseph Hollerfield and Jona. Fouch.
