  • Deux dirigeants du syndicat des employés de l’Autorité portuaire nationale (APN), Ogéda Oléus et Rigodon Nicolas, décrivent les revendications du syndicat et dénoncent la corruption au sein de l’APN, dirigé par Fritz Aristilde. Ils dénoncent, en particulier, l’élimination du fond de pension des employés et les révocations basées sur l’appartenance politique. Ils décrivent les conditions terribles dans lesquelles les employés de l’APN travaillent, et l’insuffisance de moyens technologiques dans une APN soi-disant modernisée, ce qui a pour conséquence que d’autres pays, comme la République Dominicaine, drainent le commerce qui pourrait transiter par les ports haïtiens.

  • Two leaders of the Autorité Portuaire Nationale's labor union, Ogéda Oléus and Rigodon Nicolas, describe the union's demands and denounce corruption within the APN, under the direction of Fritz Aristilde. They denounce, in particular, the elimination of employee pensions and politically-based termination of employees. They also describe the horrible, filthy working conditions and lack of technology in the "modernized" APN, which causes more port traffic to go to other countries such as the Dominican Republic.
