Diskisyon tab wonn sou roman Denis Boucolon, «Mon mari est capable», istwa yon jèn gason rele Isaac k ap grandi nan yon fanmi afriken avèk grann li ki matron lakou a, ak manman li, yon atis ki bay gason an vag paske se pitit deyò li ye. Li ale an Pari, kote li pase anpil mizè epi li patisipe nan pwostitisyon omoseksyèl. Emisyon an gen ladan ekstrè sonò yon entèvyou Monique Lafontant mennen avèk Boucolon, kote li pale de pwoblèm idantite li kòm pitit papa ayisyen ak manman gwadeloupyèn, ki grandi nan Lafrans e k ap viv aktyèman nan Pari. Li pale sou roman nan tou, ak lòt ekriven ayisyen, antiye, ak afriken ki make li.
Roundtable discussion of Denis Boucolon's novel «Mon mari est capable», the story of a young man named Isaac growing up as an illegitimate son in an African family with his grandmother, the matriarch, and an indifferent mother, a singer. He moves to Paris, where he encounters much difficulty and turns to same-sex prostitution. Includes clips of Boucolon discussing with Monique Lafontant his own identity crisis, as the child of a Haitian father and a Guadeloupean mother who grew up in Africa and now lives in France. He also discusses the novel itself, and his own literary influences, among Haitian, Antillean, and African writers.
