Vario Sérant ak Michèle Montas patisipe nan yon kolòk nan anbasad Etazini sou libète laprès ak dwa moun. Sérant bay yon bilan jeneral sou sijè poze yo. Montas dekri lyen ant dwa moun ak libète laprès an Ayiti pandan vennsenk ane presedan yo -- koman jounalis te vin yon vektè dwa moun nan peyi a. Yo reponn kesyon manm odyans yo poze, ki gen ladan yo yon kesyon sou objektivite Jean Dominique, kote moun nan di yon bagay ki pa vrè, ke Dominique te rive nan "koulwa pouvwa yo" antanke konseye Prezidan Préval. Montas refite sa moun nan ap di, paske Dominique pa t janm konseye Préval.
Vario Sérant and Michèle Montas participate in a colloquium at the US embassy on freedom of the press and human rights. Sérant gives a general overview of the subjects at hand. Montas describes the connections between human rights and the freedom of the press in Haiti over the previous twenty-five years -- how the media became the vector for human rights in Haiti. They respond to questions from audience members, including one that questions Jean Dominique's objectivity, claiming falsely that he gained access to the "halls of power" as an counselor to President Préval, which Montas refutes.
