Announcement of Populist political gathering, Aug. 31, 1894

Circular letter inviting men over age 17 to attend Populist political gathering, to be held Aug. 31, 1894 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. "We have the ground secured for camp near the Red Mill. We hope to make this the largest political gathering ever had in this county, and it will be if Populists do their duty." Handwritten at top: West Fork Township. Letter notes that township is expected to furnish 50 men (number written in by hand). Signed "E.M. Macy, Chm'n Co. Cen. COmmittee."
