Aprè li tounen soti Afrik di Sid, Pwofesè Rosny Desroches pale sou pwogram Afrik di Sid la pou rekonsilyasyon, jistis, ak verite aprè fen sistèm apated la, epi li egzamine si modèl sa a ka aplike an Ayiti aprè rejim Duvalier a epi aprè peryòd koudeta a. Desroches di viktim yo dwe chita avèk bouwo yo, epi bouwo yo dwe libere tou, menm jan avèk viktim yo. Desroches deklare li gen atitid sa a paske li gen lafwa pwotestan. Jean Dominique raple Desroches ke gwo makout Luc Désir te gen yon men sou bib li a, lòt la sou Uzi l. Desroches gen admirasyon tou pou etik travay afrikaaner yo.
After returning from South Africa, Professor Rosny Desroches discusses South Africa's post-apartheid plan for reconciliation, justice, and truth and the applicability of that model to Haiti in the aftermath of Duvalierism and the coup years. Desroches says that the victims should be willing to sit with the perpetrators and that the perpetrators, like the victims, should be liberated. He attributes this attitude in part to his Protestant faith. Jean Dominique reminds him that Duvalier's henchman Luc Désir famously kept one hand on his Bible and the other on his Uzi. Desroches also professes admiration for the Afrikaaner work ethic.
