Jean Dominique entèvyouve Georgemain Prophète, ki se prezidan chanm komès depatman Nò a, sou yon kongrè sektè prive ki pral fèt. Yo pale sou tansyon ki egziste ant sektè piblik la ak sektè prive a (sitou kòm gwo chabrak nan sektè prive a, tankou Olivier Nadal ki se prezidan chanm komès Pòtoprens, ap di aba Lavalas). Yo pale tou sou pwodiksyon nasyonal sik ak pwoblèm kleren frelate (etanòl) k ap anvayi mache ayisyen an -- Dominique mande Prophète kòman li ka pwoteje pwodiksyon nasyonal epi sekirite konsomatè. Daprè Prophète, sektè prive a ap eseye asime yon nouvo wòl nan sosyete ayisyen nan.
Jean Dominique interviews Georgemain Prophète, the President of the Chamber of Commerce for the Nord department about an upcoming conference of Haiti's private sector. They discuss the tension between the public sector and the private sector (especially as prominent members of the private sector, such as president of the President of the Chamber of Congress of Port-au-Prince Olivier Nadal, call for Lavalas to fall). They also discuss domestic sugar production and the problem of counterfeit clairin infiltrating the Haitian market -- Dominique asks Prophète how he would protect domestic production and the safety of consumers. According to Prophète, the private sector is trying to assume a new role in Haitian society. He describes how the state has neglected infrastructural problems in Cap-Haïtien, and says that most members of the Haitian private sector are not actually all that wealthy. Dominique asks if Prophète considers peasant farmers and the informal sector to be part of the private sector.
