When the stay at home orders arrived, it seemed almost unbelievable. "We aren't sure when the vaccine will arrive or when the mandated quarantine period will be lifted." Our lives have been upended in ways unimaginable. Understandably, I witnessed others and myself itching to grab some sense of normalcy back. Many chose to put themselves and others at risk by leaving home and not socially distancing.
While I understood the difficulties, it seemed irresponsible for us to feel this way. In response, I chose to live 72 hours straight on the confines of the patch of grass that was my front lawn. I was hoping to prove to myself (and others) that finding interesting things to during in these times was possible, and you don't even need to leave home to do it.
This is a photograph of the 3rd and final dinner I prepared during my 72 hour stay on my front lawn.
