Shan Xiu’e (b. 1942) is a resident of Luwan Village, Jiangsu Province. In this interview, Shan recalls the life during the Great Famine. When working at the production team for work points, people had to work day and night. No food would be provided if someone skipped work.
善秀娥1942年出生,是江苏省徐州市沛县鹿湾村村民。在这段口述中,善老人讲述了大饥荒时的生活。当时在生产队干活挣工分,从早做到晚,如果不去干活就没有饭吃。
