Jasmin Joseph, kandida pou depite Okap, pale sou pwogram politik li, epi li eksplike poukisa li anba banye ESKANP olye banye PLB.
Jasmin Joseph, candidate for MP for Cap-Haïtien, describes his political platform and explains why he is now running for office as part of ESKANP rather than PLB. According to Joseph, he was opposed to PLB's and Lavalas' embrace of the neoliberal "death plan" -- structural adjustment programs, austerity measures, and privatization. He discusses the ongoing crisis between parliament and the executive. His priorities include making sure that Haiti's communes receive the money they generate (particularly Labadie, which retains little of the tourist money it generates), and resisting neoliberalism.
