Jean Dominique entèvyouve Franklin Midy sou yon kolòk mouvman popilè ki te fèt lòtrejou, ki te reyini anpil òganizasyon sosyete sivil pou remanbre mouvman demokratik Ayiti a. Midy kwè mouvman popilè a ap vanse, malgrè kèlke echèk, malgrè li fè bak tanzantan. Yo pale sou sa k konn pase lè manm mouvman popilè rive gen pouvwa politik, sou otonomi gwoupman popilè yo fas a ONG etranje, poukisa rankont sa a te mete aksan sou manm sosyete sivil ki pi pòv epi pi defavorize yo, pami lòt sijè.
Jean Dominique interviews Franklin Midy about the recent conference of Haiti's grassroots civil society organizations, which came together in the hopes of regrouping Haiti's democratic movement. Midy believes that the popular movement is moving forward, despite some setbacks. They discuss what happens when members of the popular movement achieve political power, the autonomy of Haitian grassroots groups in the face of foreign NGOs, why this meeting focused on the poorest and most disadvantaged members of civil society, and other topics.
