Jean Dominique, Jacques Jean-Baptiste, Guy Meyer, Sony Bastien, Marvel Dandin, ak Konpè Filo patisipe nan yon chita pale tab wonn sou kesyon sansi, aprè gouvènman Jean-Claude Duvalier a te soti yon kominike kote yo mete baboukèt sou moun k ap fè pyès teyat ak sinema. Kominike sila a te soti akòz kontni "lisansye" pyès teyat Frankétienne nan, "Pèlin-Tèt." Yo pale kesyon libète lapawòl, teyat popilè, pònografi, kapasite ekspresif lang kreyòl la, epi kesyon betiz ("grivoiseries") — ki wòl yo jwe, ak kisa yo vle di, nan kreyasyon atistik epi nan kilti ayisyen (pa egzamp, nan Fèt Gede). Animasyon Harold Isaac.
Jean Dominique, Jacques Jean-Baptiste, Guy Meyer, Sony Bastien, Marvel Dandin, and Konpè Filo participate in a roundtable discussion on censorship, following Jean-Claude Duvalier's government's communiqué censoring the content of theatrical productions and cinema. This communiqué was issued due to the "licentious" content of Frankétienne's play "Pèlin-Tèt." They discuss freedom of speech, community theatre, pornography, the expressive qualities of the Haitian Creole language, and the place and meaning of provocative content, including vulgarity, in art and in Haitian culture (such as Fèt Gede). Hosted by Harold Isaac.
Animation Harold Isaac.
