About the Digital Collection
Official papers of Benjamin Brubaker. The earliest letter is family correspondence sent to Brubaker from relatives in Indiana. Two later letters are official documents from the Confederate States of America government issued for the purpose of sequestering certain properties of Jacob Brubaker, a resident of Indiana and a considered to be an enemy alien, through his agent, Benjamin Brubaker.
