  • Richard Morse of RAM discusses with Jean Dominique his trajectory as a musician, and how he came to play racine music. He also describes the influence of his mother, musician Emerante des Pradines, how Vodou serves as a source of inspiration, and how his youth in New York and exposure to artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol inspired him. Morse and Dominique discuss Jonathan Demme's film "Philadelphia," which featured RAM's "Ibo Lele." Morse describes how his wife, Lunise, came to be part of RAM, and his identity as an "atis angaje" (activist artist).
