Consumer Reports is a product testing and consumer advocacy nonprofit organization based in Yonkers, N.Y., founded in 1936. The Human Resources Department was responsible for the design, implementation and enforcement of policies relating to employment and the workplace. The department went through several name changes over time, including Personnel Department and Human Relations.
